Groundbreaking

Press, future residents, and city dignitaries gathered in Kleman Plaza to celebrate the groundbreaking of Plaza Tower Condominiums.  Two tuxedo-clad gentlemen held renderings of the 23-story condominium as Mayor Marks spoke about Plaza Tower and its contribution to Tallahassee’s exciting revitalization.  Developer Michael Baumann took the podium to give a heartfelt thanks to the union members who accompanied him to the groundbreaking and to paint a picture of his vision for Tallahassee development.

After the groundbreaking, guests were invited to join the developer in Sittig Hall for a lavish breakfast catered by Another Broken Egg.  The groundbreaking made the evening Channel 6 news, and, the next morning, Plaza Tower Condominiums was emblazoned on the front page of the Tallahassee Democrat Business Section.
